As a leader in an Learning Environment you will inspire your team to create a lasting impact, spark wonder and curiosity in our children while in their formative years. You will ensure that each child receives care that is considered optimal for their individual needs. Qualified Educators are responsible for ensuring day-to-day activities cater for the emotional, social, language, creative, intellectual and physical development of children, whilst offering a supportive, positive and caring environment.
Qualified Educators are responsible for observing and monitoring each child’s overall development; assessing children’s strengths and potential areas of support.
You can keenly identify children’s needs and devising appropriate learning experiences to meet those needs comes as second nature. You will oversee the taking of observations, designing of learning experiences and supervising of learning experiences undertaken by the unqualified staff in your room.
Drawing on the Early Years Learning Framework, theorists and pedagogy, you will diligently record observations of individual children and small groups in your care. Each day, you engage and inspire not only children, but also your team of Educators, to ensure a cohesive and inclusive environment.
You will be confident in leading work-related discussions in your Learning Environment and in providing valuable input into staff meetings and workshops. All with a view to driving change and continual improvement to service quality.

I’m Carol, a proud diploma-qualified educator hereat Tall Tree Early Learning Manning. With over four years of experience in this wonderful center, I have had the privilege of watching our children grow and thrive. My journey began as a trainee, and through hard work and dedication, I pursued my studies to earn my diploma. I started in the nursery and, after three enriching years, transitioned to the toddler room to broaden my experience and deepen my connection with our little ones.
Originally from the Philippines, I moved to Australia in 2012 after getting married. As a mother myself, with a child enrolled at this center, I understand the joys and challenges that come with parenting. This unique perspective allows me to relate closely to both our children and their families.
What truly inspires me is the incredible bond we build together. Engaging with the children, teaching them new concepts, and nurturing their growth brings me immense joy. Witnessing their development and being part of their learning journey is the most rewarding aspect of my role as an educator.
