Meet
Gil
OSHC Manager at Tall Tree OSHC Manning

My name is Gil, and I am the Manager of Tall Tree OSHC-Manning.

I began my journey with Tall Tree in 2020 as a Casual Educator at Tall Tree Early Learning- Manning. I can still remember the first day I entered Tall Tree's doors. I had that optimistic feeling that I was in a place where I could grow and learn many things, and throughout the years, Tall Tree have proven that right.

Tall Tree are generous with giving opportunities to individuals who are genuinely passionate about the childcare industry. And modesty aside, I am living proof of this.

From being a Casual Educator, I became one of the core staff members at Tall Tree Early Leaning—-Manning. They allowed me to be able to contribute to each age group and eventually; I became the Room Leader for the Toddlers' Room.

Even though I had to take a short break away from the industry, they assured me that their doors would always be open and sure enough; they welcomed me back as now the Manager for Tall Tree OSHC-Manning.

My favourite part about my role is that every day is an opportunity to learn. I have held this position for a year now, filled with meaningful learning experiences. I have the opportunity to work with diverse school-aged learners, form partnerships with the families, our local community and the schools Tall Tree OSHC-Manning is affiliated with and have constant opportunities to develop my leadership skills even more.
