Your Role

About the Role

We are looking for a Diploma-Qualified Educator who is passionate about creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging space for children. You’ll be supporting children’s learning and development through creative play and exploration, guided by our Reggio-inspired philosophy. Your dedication and nurturing approach will help shape a positive learning environment where children can thrive.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Engage Through Play-Based Learning: Connect with children through age-appropriate activities that extend their interests and development.
  • Foster a Safe and Inclusive Environment: Ensure that every child feels welcomed and valued and promote child safeguarding practices.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with fellow educators to bring out the best in each other, maintaining a team-oriented approach.
  • Plan, Implement, and Evaluate Programs: Leverage your knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to create enriching educational experiences.
  • Bring Positivity and Professionalism: Approach every day with a friendly, mature, and professional attitude, fostering a warm environment for all.

Your Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), along with all necessary certifications for child safety.
  • Experience in Early Childhood Settings: At least 1-2 years in a similar role, with the ability to foster meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with children, families, and team members, and maintain a culture of trust and respect.
  • Passion for Learning and Nature-Based Education: A strong commitment to play-based, child-led learning, and enthusiasm for our Reggio Emilia-inspired environment.

Remuneration & Benefits

Earn between $29 - $32.97 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications. Plus, eligible educators may have access to the Worker Retention Grant, designed to support long-term commitment and professional development in the early childhood education sector.
